Left Ventricular Pressure Module

The Left Ventricular Pressure Analysis Module was developed to specifically analyze the left ventricular pressure from the heart. Some of the on-line derived parameters include LVEDP, HR, +/-dP/dt, Q-A interval and Tau. As with all modules, derived data can be reported in a beat-to-beat or time averaged presentation.
The Left Ventricular Pressure Analysis functions by applying a series of logical tests to the digitized ventricular pressure signal, and its first derivative, using criteria selected by the user. The above graph represents a typical left ventricular pressure recording and its first derivative (dP/dt) as they would appear on the monitor. Automated validation marks for Left Ventricular End Diastolic Pressure, Systolic Pressure, Percent Recovery Times and -dP/dt max are shown. The validation marks provide visual, on-line verification of the accuracy of the system.
