Data Review
The Data Review feature permits the user to modify the placement of validation
marks on segments of waveform data while relying on P3 Plus to calculate derived
parameters based on the newly placed validation marks.
Streamlining the process of creating a Review file, the New Review does not require the User to replay a file and select data for Review. A Review File is automatically created during every acquisition or replay session without any User intervention. This allows the entire file to be utilized during review.
In addition to having the capability to modify validation mark placement, additional functionality has been granted to Review to mimic that of acquisition or replay. Derived data and Data reduction files are presented consistent with acquisition and replay. The ability to modify protocol information is available as well. Graph pages may be modified, signal attributes are accessible and even logging rate information (how often derived parameters are calculated) may be changed and derived output recalculated without the need to replay the file!
The parameter sorting capabilities included in Data Review ease the process of identifying outliers and locating the affected data. The user can easily sort any of the derived parameter columns in an ascending or descending order. When the user identifies a derived parameter of interest from the sorted list of beat-to-beat calculations (e.g.: a QT Interval much longer in duration than the others), the user can simply click on the cell containing that parameter and the system will automatically sync with the waveform data by bringing that cycle to the center of the graphics screen.
Notes may be added to the data section to identify changes to fiducial marks (Change Notes) or simply to provide User insight into a specific cycle or section of data (Freeform Notes). Toolbar buttons allow a User to quickly locate Events, Notes or Changes to the fiducial marks located throughout the dataset by simply clicking on the appropriate toolbar button.
Data Parser

Data Parser is a tool designed to permit the selection of a portion of a Review file, allowing creation of a smaller Review file, viewing only the selected data and/or saving derived data. Segments may be defined graphically, or they may be defined by setting up Rules for the creation of parser segments (manually typing in start and end times for each segment is also possible). Graphical parsing is available by selectively outlining the regions of interest. Parsing may also be achieved automatically by establishing desired time segments of interest in the form of RULES. These RULES may then be saved as part of the protocol and data automatically parsed when a Review file is opened.
PV Loop Analysis

Leveraging off of Data Review is another powerful post process feature, Pressure Volume Loop analysis (PV Loops). PV Loops permit the display and analysis of left ventricular pressure cycles plotted against cardiac volume cycles.
The upper section of a PV Loop window consists of a graph area which is used to display XY and scatter data. The lower section of the window is split into a list view on the right that shows selected parameters for all analysis performed on the current channel pair and a status/control area. The status control area on the left provides information on the data currently in the graph area and permits the user to analyze and add data to the list view.
