DSI Telemetry Information
As the global leader in implantable telemetric physiologic monitors, Data Sciences International (DSI) is committed to sharing information about the growing and expanding area of telemetry information.
DSI customers may access information about
telemetry through a variety of sources on our website. We publish Tech
Notes and Telemetry
Times to
keep customers informed of specific information related to our
products as well as broader telemetry information such as new
product announcements, recent scientific articles about research
which used DSI products, unique uses for DSI products, and instructions
for transmitter implants.
We also provide a variety of additional telemetry information sources including a telemetry information guide, recently published scientific articles and
unique DSI device applications to keep you informed about the techniques, procedures, and the latest in telemetry information.
DSI’s Telemetry Information Guide provides an introduction and overview of DSI telemetry systems. This guide also provides reference information on technical and performance specifications. The Telemetry Information Guide is intended for lab personnel who will set up and monitor studies using PhysioTel® implantable telemetry transmitters and Dataquest® A.R.T. software. It presents the PhysioTel Telemetry system and contains information on how to set up, use, and maintain the DSI equipment. This guide does not explain study or experiment design.
Whatever your telemetry research may be, DSI probably has a
product to assist you in researching it. Our Unique
DSI Device Applications section
provides information about the more unique applications of DSI
products from telemetry in pregnant goats and fish to gastrointestinal
telemetry in the pig.
DSI periodically provides Tech
Notes, a publication that covers a variety of topics to
assist researchers on the care and use of DSI transmitters.
Researchers may read about transmitter storage, resterilization
of transmitters, placement of ECG leads, guidelines for re-gelling
pressure sensing catheters and much more.
Telemetry Times is
a DSI publication that features broader based topics related
to DSI, our customers and the use of our products. Customers
read about our newest product announcements, unique applications
of DSI devices, learn about tips and tricks for the implantation
of transmitters, and answers to commonly asked questions about
DSI software.
